Aryaa International is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for a leading Fertilizer and Agri-Inputs company operating in Tanzania. This pivotal role involves leading a sales team to achieve ambitious targets for products such as Urea, DAP, NPK, Seeds, and Pesticides. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing distributors and channel networks, driving farmer engagement, and spearheading market development initiatives to ensure the company's growth in the Tanzanian market. In addition to strategic sales leadership, the Regional Sales Manager will handle critical operations including forecasting, supply coordination, and inventory management. You will be expected to ensure compliance, collections, and detailed reporting while traveling extensively across your assigned regions. Candidates should possess a degree in Agriculture or Agribusiness, ideally with an MBA, and have over a decade of experience in the agri-inputs sector. The role requires a deep understanding of crop cycles and the specific dynamics of local farmer markets.
Key Requirements
Degree in Agriculture / Agribusiness
MBA degree is preferred
10–12 years of experience in Agri-inputs or Fertilizer Sales
Strong experience in regional handling and channel network management
Deep knowledge of crop cycles and farmer markets
Willingness for extensive travel within the assigned region
Experience in handling forecasting and supply coordination
Proven track record in managing and developing a sales team
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Expertise in managing collections, compliance, and reporting
Ability to achieve sales targets for Urea, DAP, NPK, Seeds, and Pesticides
