As a Compensation and Benefits Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Human Resources department, focusing on the design and administration of employee reward programs. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the company's compensation packages are competitive, equitable, and compliant with national labor laws. This involves managing payroll data, overseeing health insurance benefits, and coordinating performance-based incentive programs.

Furthermore, you will conduct regular market research to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards, providing data-driven recommendations to management. The role requires a high degree of discretion and attention to detail when handling sensitive employee information. Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in HRIS or payroll software are necessary to succeed in this specialized HR function within the manufacturing sector.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in compensation and benefits administration. In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian Labor Laws and tax regulations. Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee data. Experience with job evaluation and salary benchmarking techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to design and implement employee wellness and benefit programs.
