ALUKS, a luxury apartment property in Dodoma, is seeking an experienced and creative Chef to lead its kitchen operations. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen staff, overseeing inventory, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This role requires a culinary professional who can innovate and deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Key Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef in a hotel, apartment, or hospitality food service environment.
Certificate, Diploma, or relevant professional qualification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
Excellent culinary skills, creativity, and knowledge of various cuisines.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage kitchen staff.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Team player with integrity and a strong work ethic.
Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
Experience with menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards.
