FUNDRAISING SPECIALIST (CONSULTANCY) @ ALLAN & GILL GRAY PHILANTHROPY EASTERN AFRICA
Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropy Eastern Africa is seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Specialist for a consultancy position based in Kenya. The core mission of this role is to support the organization's efforts to scale deep and scale out across the region. The successful candidate will be tasked with transforming strategic intelligence into tangible impact by identifying unique funding opportunities and establishing a robust pipeline of high-quality donors.
In this role, you will be expected to lead the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring that all submissions are of the highest standard and aligned with the organization's strategic goals. This position requires a professional who is not only adept at finding new opportunities but also possesses the expertise to close them effectively. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the philanthropic footprint of the organization within Kenya and the broader Eastern African context.

Key Requirements
Proven track record in successful fundraising and donor relationship management.
Ability to identify and analyze strategic funding opportunities in the philanthropic sector.
Experience in building and maintaining a high-quality donor pipeline.
Demonstrated leadership in managing complex proposal development processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with high-level stakeholders.
Strong understanding of the economic and social landscape of Kenya.
Ability to translate strategic intelligence into actionable fundraising plans.
Proven ability to negotiate and close funding opportunities.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar consultancy or fundraising role.
Bachelor's degree in International Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
