Agrosoko Consultancy Services Agency is seeking a dedicated Sales and Marketing Officer to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Operational Lead and play a pivotal role in driving business development by identifying new clients and promoting the agency's consultancy services. This position requires a professional who can effectively manage relationships with agricultural stakeholders and develop strategic marketing plans to achieve organizational objectives. The role involves monitoring market trends and competition within the Tanzanian agribusiness sector to provide actionable recommendations. Candidates will be responsible for implementing monthly marketing strategies and maintaining the company's competitive edge. The ideal applicant should possess strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the local market to foster long-term growth and service excellence for the agency.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
At least one (1) year of relevant working experience in sales or marketing roles.
Deep understanding of the Tanzanian agribusiness environment and current market trends.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
Proficiency in delivering professional presentations to potential corporate clients.
Excellent negotiation skills to effectively close business deals and service contracts.
Ability to develop and implement comprehensive monthly marketing plans independently.
Experience in managing and maintaining professional relationships with diverse agricultural stakeholders.
Proven ability to conduct market analysis and monitor competition for strategic purposes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet company targets within deadlines.
Ability to work under the supervision of the Regional Operational Lead.
Capability to provide strategic recommendations to improve service delivery based on data.
