The Feed Mill Production Manager is responsible for leading all feed production, raw material handling, and finished goods operations in our 24/7 poultry feed manufacturing facility in Zinga, Bagamoyo. You will drive production efficiency, product quality, and cost control while ensuring total inventory accuracy. This role covers the entire production spectrum from receiving and batching to pelleting, cooling, and final dispatch, requiring a leader who can manage complex workflows under tight deadlines.
In addition to operational oversight, you will lead a large production staff and coordinate closely with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. You will be responsible for monitoring production KPIs such as OEE and yield, implementing waste reduction initiatives, and ensuring strict compliance with HACCP, GMP, and TBS standards. This is a critical role for an experienced professional looking to manage high-volume production in a dynamic agribusiness environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or Agriculture.
Minimum 7 years of experience in feed milling, food manufacturing, or industrial production.
Minimum 4 years of management experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Specific experience in poultry feed production including mash and pellet feed.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
