This role involves leading Stawi Zanzibar's new 36-month Mangrove Restoration & Community Development Programme across Menai Bay and Chwaka Bay. The program is community-led, integrating mangrove restoration, agroforestry, blue carbon initiatives, women and youth enterprise development, eco-credit groups, fisheries and coastal livelihoods, regenerative tourism, and climate resilience efforts. The Project Manager will be responsible for overall program oversight, strategic planning, and successful execution of all activities. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in ecosystem restoration and livelihood development. They will be crucial in fostering strong relationships with local communities, government bodies, partners, and donors to ensure the program's objectives are met and contribute to the thriving of Zanzibar's coastal communities and ecosystems.
