Ajinomoto Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our operations in San Diego, CA. This leadership role is vital for managing complex manufacturing operations and ensuring the peak performance of critical facility assets. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance strategies, driving safety initiatives, and enhancing the overall reliability of the production environment.

We provide a strong, growth-focused environment for leaders who are ready to influence long-term asset performance. The position includes relocation assistance and TN Visa sponsorship for qualified candidates who currently hold an active TN Visa. As a key member of the management team, you will utilize your technical expertise in ammonia refrigeration and manufacturing to maintain high operational standards and lead a dedicated team to success.

Key Requirements

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective leadership. Possession of at least a two-year technical degree in a relevant field. Extensive experience in complex manufacturing operations. Direct exposure to and knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems. Demonstrated leadership experience in a maintenance management capacity. Ability to influence reliability and safety metrics within a facility. Must currently hold an active TN Visa for sponsorship eligibility. Strong understanding of long-term asset performance and lifecycle management. Proven track record of managing maintenance teams and budgets. Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with various departments.
