Globus Recruit 19 is inviting applications for the position of Quantity Surveyor (QS) for projects based in Tanzania. The role involves managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. You will also perform risk, value management, and cost control during the construction phase. We are looking for a professional who is highly organized, possesses strong negotiation skills, and has a thorough understanding of the Tanzanian construction industry.
