EpicBR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of various goods and services, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational needs. Your primary duties will include sourcing and evaluating suppliers to achieve optimal cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. You will also be tasked with preparing and issuing Request for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and managing contracts with vendors.
Beyond core purchasing activities, the Procurement Coordinator will play a vital role in tracking purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure all deadlines are met. This position involves maintaining a comprehensive supplier database, diligently managing procurement records, and ensuring all necessary documentation is meticulously kept. You will collaborate closely with internal departments to accurately forecast future procurement needs and support negotiations with vendors and service providers. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree In Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional certification in Procurement such as CIPS, CPSP, Or equivalent is an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement with supervisory or managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier management, contract management, and compliance.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor interactions.
