The Africa Financial Manager role involves supporting the achievement of financial objectives by maintaining and improving financial health and sustainability for the organization. This position is accountable for ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and delivering high-quality management and statutory reporting. The successful candidate will maintain D365 data integrity, implement Group financial standards, and ensure strict compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and tracking key cost drivers. Key duties include developing and managing budgets, monitoring operating expenses, and coordinating treasury operations such as forex and cash flow forecasting. The manager will lead and motivate the finance team, focusing on performance management and succession planning. Additionally, the role requires building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulators. The position is based at a regional office and requires local travel, overtime flexibility, and successful completion of police and credit checks.
Key Requirements
BCom Degree in Accounting
CA or local equivalent qualification
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Manager
Strong expertise in statutory compliance and local legislation
Expert knowledge of local taxation
