PCS is recruiting for an HR Officer with a strong digital and analytics orientation on behalf of a client. This role is pivotal in supporting HR operations through robust HRIS and digital systems management, comprehensive HR data analysis, and insightful MIS reporting. The HR Officer will also play a key role in ensuring fair and compliant disciplinary processes while actively contributing to improving the overall employee experience and operational efficiency within the organization.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate employee records within HRIS and other digital HR systems, covering areas such as contracts, attendance, leave, performance, and disciplinary records. The role involves supporting critical HR lifecycle events, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and exits. A fundamental aspect is ensuring strict compliance with HR policies and all relevant Tanzanian labor laws. The HR Officer will be responsible for preparing various HR MIS reports, encompassing headcount, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, recruitment metrics, disciplinary cases, and training data. Tracking HR KPIs and building monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards to provide actionable insights to management is also a core duty. Furthermore, the role supports disciplinary and employee relations processes, including drafting show cause letters, warnings, and outcome documentation under the HR Manager's guidance, providing grievance support, and maintaining meticulous records. The HR Officer will also drive digital HR and process improvements, promoting HR tools, supporting automation initiatives, documenting SOPs, and assisting with new system implementations. Finally, the position supports recruitment efforts, from job postings and CV screening to interview coordination, recruitment reporting, and induction/orientation support.

Key Requirements

Strong HR analytics & MIS reporting skills with the ability to build comprehensive dashboards. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS/HR systems, and other digital HR tools. Thorough understanding of disciplinary procedures and Tanzanian labor laws. Excellent documentation, communication, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Analytical and process-driven approach, capable of working with minimal supervision.
