SUMET is a fast-growing tech-enabled distribution company focused on transforming product launches and providing Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services to retailers and wholesalers. As the company continues to scale, we are looking for a dedicated Stock Controller to join our Finance department. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our inventory systems and ensuring that the physical stock aligns perfectly with our digital records. The candidate will work under the Financial Manager to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting related to inventory assets.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily inventory levels, managing warehouse transfers, and utilizing the Odoo ERP system to document all transactions. Beyond routine monitoring, you will play a key role in investigating discrepancies and identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. This position requires a professional with a high degree of integrity who can work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment. You will be expected to prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports that help the management make informed procurement and sales decisions.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA (added advantage).
2–5 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
Strong experience working with ERP systems, specifically the Odoo system is mandatory.
