Twyfordtile is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at the Tiles Factory in Chalinze, Tanzania. This crucial role involves managing daily cash operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining robust cash flow. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of daily and monthly financial tasks, contributing significantly to the company's financial health and operational efficiency.Key responsibilities for this position include preparing daily cash and bank reports, uploading SWIFT transactions, and creating transfers within the online banking system. You will also be tasked with meticulously counting and reconciling cash at the end of each day with a supervisor, as well as disbursing cash payments as required. Furthermore, the role involves maintaining detailed cash flow and OA payment lists, and downloading monthly bank statements for record-keeping and analysis. We are looking for a proactive individual who can manage these tasks with precision and a high sense of responsibility.
Key Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, cashiering, or a related financial role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
