Exact Software Ltd is looking for a dedicated IT Software Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tanzania. This role is central to our mission of delivering and supporting cutting-edge Vision Software solutions to an expanding client base. You will be tasked with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software across various Windows environments, ensuring that our clients have seamless access to our tools. Beyond technical setup, you will manage vital security components such as firewalls and antivirus software, protecting client data and maintaining system integrity.
In addition to technical maintenance, the IT Software Support Engineer is responsible for customer success through hands-on training and module implementation. You will work with Microsoft SQL databases and handle basic networking tasks, including LAN/WLAN troubleshooting and IP management. This position requires a professional who can communicate effectively in both English and Swahili, bridging the gap between complex software solutions and end-user operations. Key Requirements
Possession of a relevant Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Proven experience in providing IT technical support in a professional environment.
Expertise in installing and troubleshooting Windows OS environments (7, 10, 11).
Ability to manage and configure firewall and antivirus settings for client security.
Strong understanding of network troubleshooting, including IP management and LAN/WLAN setups.
