The Program Coordinator role at ASAI is designed for an energetic professional who is passionate about implementing community-driven programs. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of program activities, ensuring that they are executed smoothly and reach the intended beneficiaries. Your work will involve direct engagement with community members, partners, and local authorities to foster collaboration and program success.
In addition to field-level coordination, you will assist in the development of program strategies and contribute to monitoring and evaluation efforts to track progress. You will be expected to prepare detailed progress reports and documentation of best practices and lessons learned. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the social development landscape in Tanzania through hands-on program management and community empowerment. The candidate should be flexible and ready to work in various settings.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating social programs or community outreach.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
