Are you an experienced accounting professional seeking an international career opportunity? hirecrest is looking for a detail-oriented AP / AR Accountant to join its dynamic Accounts & Finance team in Tanzania. This role involves managing comprehensive Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting critical financial activities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and diligently monitoring outstanding balances. Key responsibilities also include assisting with month-end and year-end financial closures, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and statutory regulations, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies. The role requires the preparation of accurate financial reports for management to support informed decision-making.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience with any ERP system is preferred.
Ability to manage day-to-day Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable operations.
