Safal Group, a well-established leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Project Sales Officer to join their team in Tanzania. This role is central to the company's growth, focusing on the proactive identification and engagement of targeted customers to drive the sales of Light Gauge Steel Trussing and other high-value building solutions. The officer will act as a key liaison between the company and professionals such as architects, quantity surveyors, and structural engineers, ensuring that the company's products are integrated into project designs from the earliest stages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from generating Bills of Quantities (BOQs) using 3-D and 2-D drawings to tracking enquiries and ensuring timely billing. Beyond technical sales, the role involves building robust relationships within the influencer community and developing strategic go-to-market plans for building solutions. This is a full-time position requiring a results-oriented professional capable of meeting monthly volume and collection targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering, or Architecture. Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the steel industry or building/construction materials sector. Possess a valid driving license for field visits and client meetings. Ability to work long hours as and when required to meet project deadlines. Professional registration with relevant Sales, Marketing, or Engineering bodies. Proven ability to generate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from 3-D and 2-D architectural drawings. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make sound business decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and active listening skills to understand client needs. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in the project design and sales process. Capacity to develop and manage new building solutions sales within both existing and new channels.
