The Regional Learning and Knowledge Specialist will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the World Bank-funded Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience (HEPRR) program. Working within a dynamic regional environment, the specialist will coordinate learning agendas and support the integration of equity and gender considerations into health emergency systems. Responsibilities include managing communities of practice, hosting technical webinars, and synthesizing complex data into actionable recommendations. The position requires a deep commitment to global health standards and a strategic approach to knowledge management, ensuring that evidence-based practices contribute to the resilience of health systems throughout the Eastern and Southern African region.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in public health, Global Health, Health Policy, Monitoring and Evaluation, or related field.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in learning agenda coordination or implementation research.
Proven experience in developing knowledge products such as policy briefs and case studies.
Demonstrated skills in data interpretation and translating evidence into policy recommendations.
Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder processes involving governments and international partners.
