As a Site Electrical Engineer at EpicBR, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and servicing of generators and electrical systems at the Tanga site. Your primary goal will be to ensure all operations comply with SHEQ and SOP standards while driving reliability through detailed Root Cause Analysis and failure prevention strategies. You will play a critical role in optimizing power systems to support continuous 24/7 operations.
In this role, you will analyze performance data, monitor alarms, and resolve system malfunctions. You will also be responsible for controlling load distribution and communicating preventive maintenance requirements based on SMU monitoring. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of large generator systems and exhibits strong leadership skills to manage technical faults and team performance effectively.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power/Energy Engineering.
4+ years of experience in large generators or power generation.
Experience in 24/7 continuous operations environments.
Caterpillar equipment experience preferred.
Excellent knowledge of large generator systems operations and maintenance skills.
