CBM360TIV is seeking a skilled IoT Installation Engineer to lead the deployment of advanced smart mining technologies and integrated monitoring systems in Mbeya, Tanzania. This role is pivotal for the company's mining industry operations, focusing on enhancing real-time visibility and operational efficiency through industrial IoT solutions. The engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of IoT hardware, from site-wide sensor installation to integration with SCADA and industrial networks.
The position involves troubleshooting complex connectivity issues and ensuring high data transmission integrity in rugged mining environments, contributing significantly to digital transformation initiatives. Successful candidates will support the digital transformation of mining operations by ensuring all sensors and smart devices are perfectly calibrated and networked to provide actionable data for management and operations teams.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or IT.
3 to 5 years of professional experience in IoT or industrial automation.
Proficiency in installing and configuring IoT sensors and smart devices on industrial sites.
Experience integrating IoT systems with SCADA and existing industrial networks.
Strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity and data transmission issues.
