The role involves the creation of detailed testing artefacts, including comprehensive Test Plans that define objectives, scope, resources, and timelines. Analysts will work collaboratively with internal ICT project team members and external stakeholders to identify potential risks, manage defects, and provide testing effort estimates. Candidates must demonstrate strong work ethics and initiative, with the ability to provide leadership and knowledge sharing among the team. Proficiency in the Software Testing Lifecycle is essential, and experience with automation or performance testing is considered highly desirable for this high-level government support role.

Key Requirements

Gain an understanding of the current and future state business processes and applications. Review requirements, determine the sequence and identify dependencies to plan testing activities. Create a comprehensive and thorough Test Plan that aligns with the overall program and project objectives. Provide testing effort estimates to the project manager for completion of testing activities. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to execute testing and deliver outcomes. Conduct testing activities such as planning, defining test data requirements, and identifying environments. Preparation and review of test cases and comprehensive defect management. Create and review testing artefacts such as test plans, test progress summary, and closure reports. Identify potential risks and issues related to testing and work closely with the project manager on mitigation. Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
