Bhanji Transport, a prominent leader in East Africa's transport and logistics sector, is seeking a diligent Tracking Officer to join our team in Dodoma, Tanzania. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and security of our extensive fleet operations.
The Tracking Officer will be responsible for real-time monitoring of all fleet vehicles, ensuring adherence to routes, schedules, and safety protocols. You will utilize advanced GPS and telematics systems to track vehicle movements, identify potential issues, and provide timely updates to relevant departments. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills who can contribute significantly to optimizing our logistics network.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in fleet tracking or logistics monitoring
Proficiency in using GPS tracking software and telematics systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve tracking discrepancies
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with drivers and other departments
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
