Blue Marktender is a reputable construction company currently looking for two dedicated and motivated Procurement Officers to join its professional team in Dar es Salaam. As we focus on building tomorrow together, these roles are critical in ensuring that our construction projects are supported by high-quality materials and efficient supply chain operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for procuring essential construction materials, equipment, and services while maintaining high standards of value and quality. The primary duties include sourcing and negotiating with various suppliers to secure the best possible terms, preparing detailed purchase orders, and generating comprehensive procurement reports. You will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials to project sites to avoid delays and will be tasked with maintaining accurate procurement records and supplier databases. We are seeking individuals who are committed to delivering value and quality in every aspect of the procurement lifecycle.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2 years' professional experience in procurement.
Prior experience specifically within the construction industry is highly preferred.
CPSP/CIPS certification is an added advantage for this role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
