Volens Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking a qualified and motivated Data Analyst/Data Officer to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the lifecycle of inventory data, which includes managing comprehensive stock-in and stock-out records, monitoring internal inventory movements, and ensuring the highest level of data integrity. The successful candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights by preparing detailed sales analysis reports and maintaining updated inventory databases to support the organization's operational efficiency. In addition to daily record-keeping, the Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting product quantification and demand forecasting to optimize supply chain activities. This position requires the generation of regular management reports that highlight trends and provide strategic recommendations. The role is based in Dar es Salaam and offers a dynamic environment for professionals looking to apply their analytical skills in a supply chain and business context. Candidates will be expected to utilize advanced data management systems and work collaboratively with various departments to ensure reporting accuracy.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
1-3 years of relevant experience in inventory management, data analysis, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various data management systems for reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in record keeping.
