The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of all M&E activities within the SET project under the supervision of the M&E Coordinator. This role involves supporting the design, analysis, and writing of various M&E products, ensuring that project activities are monitored timely and that high-quality data is available for decision-making. The officer will manage the overall data collection process, update project databases, and maintain visualization dashboards to facilitate evidence-based reporting. Furthermore, the M&E Officer will play a crucial role in capacity building, leading training for project staff and partners on M&E practices and data quality. They will facilitate knowledge management by documenting best practices and lessons learned, while organizing data review and reflection workshops. Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in monitoring and evaluation, statistics, economics, computer science, or data science. First work experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research in monitoring and evaluation. Practical experience supporting or implementing M&E systems, including routine monitoring and reporting. Experience across the data value chain including data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualisation. Experience using digital data collection tools such as KoboToolbox, ODK or similar platforms.
