SWITCHBOARD DRAFTSPERSON @ BOOMERING
Boomering is seeking a detail-oriented Switchboard Draftsperson to join our team and contribute to our mission of building careers with purpose. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings, including detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. You will ensure that all designs meet rigorous standards, specifically AS/NZS 61439 and ISO 9001 requirements, while maintaining accurate revision records and symbol libraries to support the engineering team. In this role, you will be expected to work closely with various departments, including engineering, project management, and workshop supervision, to ensure technical accuracy and the overall buildability of designs. Ideal candidates will have an engineering diploma or a trade background in the electrical field, coupled with advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software. Your strong knowledge of electrical layouts and components will be essential in maintaining the high standards of quality that Boomering is known for in the industry.
