Bay Title, LLC is expanding its professional team and is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Real Estate Closer / Post-Closer to fill roles in our Newport News and Midlothian, Virginia offices. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional who deeply understands the full lifecycle of a real estate transaction, from the initial closing proceedings to the final post-closing completion and document recording. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting residential purchase and refinance closings, reviewing settlement statements for accuracy, and ensuring all lender instructions and compliance guidelines are strictly met. You will coordinate closely with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers to facilitate a seamless experience. Further duties include preparing documents for recording, confirming funding and disbursement, and issuing final title policies. Key Requirements

Minimum of 2+ years of real estate or title company experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of TRID regulations and lender compliance guidelines. Experience with SoftPro software is preferred, though training can be provided. Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in documentation. Strong communication skills for coordinating with agents, lenders, and clients. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously. Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced title environment. Competency in conducting residential purchase and refinance closings. Proficiency in reviewing and balancing settlement statements. Ability to prepare and submit legal documents for recording correctly. Capacity to confirm funding, disbursement, and track lender packages. Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving within the transaction lifecycle.
