The Network with Data Migration Architect role involves leading complex network inventory transformation projects within the telecommunications sector in Melbourne. You will be responsible for driving metadata modeling across layers L0 through L3, utilizing graph-based architectures and Neo4j to manage intricate network data relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of large-scale data migration and the development of robust ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and system performance.

The successful candidate will align engineering solutions with strategic network objectives and autonomous operations. Expertise in carrier-grade systems and TM Forum (TMF) standards is essential for delivering scalable integrations. This is a full-time contract position for 6 months or more, requiring a senior specialist with over 10 years of experience to provide technical leadership and high-quality architectural design for network-wide transformations.

Key Requirements

10+ years of experience in Network Architecture or similar senior technology roles. Deep expertise in network inventory transformation and large-scale data migration. Proficiency in metadata modeling specifically across L0–L3 layers. Hands-on experience with graph-based architectures and Neo4j database systems. Strong knowledge of designing and implementing ETL pipelines for complex datasets. Experience with TM Forum (TMF) standards and aligned integrations within telco. Extensive background working with carrier-grade systems and automation. Proven ability to deliver scalable and high-quality engineering solutions. Capability to drive strategic objectives related to autonomous network operations. Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage large-scale architectural projects.
