Exim Bank is seeking a dedicated Relationship Manager to join its Retail department in Arusha. The primary objective of this role is to drive business growth by deepening relationships and managing both key and potential customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales of liabilities, acquisitions, cash management, credit cards, and various retail products to maximize revenue and achieve specific sales targets. This position plays a critical role in the bank's mission to provide innovative banking solutions and superior customer service.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, driving growth in CASA/FD and asset portfolios, and identifying cross-selling opportunities. The Relationship Manager will also work closely with branch managers to anticipate issues, offer professional solutions, and use referrals to expand the client base. Candidates must have a strong understanding of all products and services offered by Exim Bank to effectively serve clients and provide informed choices for their everyday banking needs.
Key Requirements
University degree in Business Administration or Economics and relevant professional qualifications in banking, finance, or marketing.
Minimum of two years relevant working experience in a similar position within the banking sector.
Computer literacy and knowledge of new evolving technology systems relevant to the financial industry.
Ability to assess customer needs and develop or recommend products that suit those specific needs.
Self-confident, ambitious, and willing to take on significant challenges in a competitive market.
