Ahker Jobs is seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing team in Coimbatore, India. This is a crucial full-time role requiring 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality control. The ideal candidate will be an immediate joiner responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across all stages of production, including incoming materials, in-process production, and final product release. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in various measuring techniques.

Key responsibilities include utilizing specialized measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, and Height Gauges, alongside interpreting complex engineering drawings and technical specifications. The inspector must prepare detailed inspection reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) promptly. Collaboration is essential, requiring interaction with both the production and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to facilitate timely defect resolution and process improvements. Furthermore, the role involves maintaining strict adherence to 5S principles and safety regulations within the inspection areas, while ensuring accurate traceability and tagging of all inspected components.

Key Requirements

Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical / Tool & Die / QAQC qualification. 2+ years experience in quality inspection (preferably in automotive or precision manufacturing). Skilled in using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometre, Height Gauge, etc.). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience in conducting in-process, incoming, and final inspections of components. Proficiency in preparing inspection reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS). Ability to collaborate effectively with production and QA teams for defect resolution. Familiarity with maintaining 5S and safety compliance standards in inspection areas. Ensuring material traceability and proper tagging of parts.
