This full-time, on-site/off-site role is crucial for ensuring the quality and functionality of the company's software, particularly in POS and financial systems. The primary focus of this position involves planning, executing, and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee that all software deliverables align perfectly with stated business and user requirements. Candidates, including fresh graduates, are encouraged to apply, though 2-5 years of experience in testing fintech or banking applications will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will work closely with development and product teams to define effective test strategies.

The responsibilities extend beyond simple testing. The specialist will be required to perform manual testing, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle, and prepare essential documentation like release notes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test cases, and comprehensive test reports. Furthermore, the role involves stakeholder communication regarding project outcomes and risks, providing software training, and offering prompt support to customers for issue resolution. The candidate must maintain meticulous records and ensure that all software quality adheres strictly to required data privacy, security, and compliance standards, especially within the Bangladeshi banking/fintech regulatory environment.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience or strong understanding of manual software testing techniques. Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, test methodologies, and QA best practices. Ability to plan, execute, and manage User Acceptance Testing to ensure compliance with business requirements. Basic understanding of network communication concepts, including client-server model, APIs, ports, and protocols. Familiarity with financial transaction workflows and system behavior in a banking or fintech context. Awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements, particularly regulatory environments in Bangladesh. Proficiency in identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects. Experience preparing and maintaining essential documentation such as SOPs, test cases, test reports, and release notes. Ability to provide software training, assist with initial system setup, and support users during operational phases.
