Zurkt is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer for our operations in Mafinga, Iringa. The role focuses on efficient sourcing, supplier management, and the optimization of purchasing processes to ensure the company receives high-quality goods at the best value. Candidates with previous experience in the Iringa region and a valid driving license will have a distinct advantage in navigating the local supply chain landscape. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying reliable suppliers and negotiating favorable terms to ensure cost-effective procurement. You will manage the entire lifecycle of purchasing activities, from initial requisition to final delivery, while maintaining high standards of transparency and efficiency. Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of procurement experience.
Experience in sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing processes.
Valid driving license is an added advantage.
Previous procurement experience in Iringa Region is preferred.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and the MS Office Suite.
Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare detailed procurement reports.
Strong ethics and integrity in vendor selection and bidding processes.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
