Zanzibar College of Health and Technology invites applications for the position of Nursing & Midwifery Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for instructing students on nursing care practices, midwifery techniques, and public health guidelines. You will facilitate both classroom lectures and clinical demonstrations, ensuring students gain the necessary proficiency to provide high-quality care during pregnancy, childbirth, and post-natal phases.
This role involves active student mentorship and participation in departmental meetings to review curriculum outcomes. The successful candidate will foster a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment. You will evaluate student competence through practical exams and theoretical assessments, ensuring all trainees meet the national standards required for nursing and midwifery practitioners.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Midwifery
Active registration or license with a relevant professional body
Minimum 2 years of clinical or teaching experience in nursing/midwifery
Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health is a plus
Expertise in maternal and child health practices
Excellent instructional and facilitation skills
Patience and the ability to mentor students in clinical settings
Demonstrated competence in assessment and curriculum delivery
Strong understanding of ethical medical practices
Proficiency in administrative tasks related to academic record keeping
