DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY TUTOR (2 POSITIONS) @ ZANZIBAR COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND TECHNOLOGY
The Zanzibar College of Health and Technology is seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Radiography Tutor to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in diagnostic radiography techniques, overseeing practical laboratory sessions, and preparing students for clinical placements. This role involves active participation in curriculum development and the assessment of student performance in medical imaging. In addition to teaching, the tutor will engage in mentorship and support the college's research initiatives within the medical imaging department. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Radiography or a closely related field
Current professional registration or valid license
At least 2 years of professional clinical or teaching experience
Master's degree in a relevant field is considered a strong advantage
Strong understanding of modern radiography equipment and safety standards
Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans
Excellent proficiency in English and Swahili
Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
Commitment to ongoing academic research and professional development
Capacity to mentor students during their clinical rotations
