A leading packaging manufacturing company in Tanzania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Engineer specializing in Blown Film Extrusion Lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of state-of-the-art Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) machinery. This role involves continuous monitoring of production parameters to ensure the highest standards of product quality while identifying and implementing strategies to enhance overall machine performance and production efficiency.
Beyond technical tasks, the Technical Engineer will play a vital role in team development by providing hands-on training and technical support to the production staff. Candidates should possess between 5 and 10 years of direct experience in the plastic packaging industry and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities. Key Requirements
5–10 years of hands-on experience in blown film extrusion lines.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) machinery.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and process issues in extrusion systems.
Solid background in the plastic packaging industry specifically with blown film.
Ability to monitor and optimize production parameters for high-quality output.
Experience in implementing machine maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
Demonstrated capability to train and mentor production teams on technical operations.
Strong understanding of polymer processing and material properties.
