A leading UAE-regulated FinTech payments company based in Dubai is currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director to join their executive team. This role is pivotal for overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance within the dynamic payments sector, and driving the company's financial growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global CFO to shape the organization's financial future and maintain high standards of governance within the UAE financial ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong Big 4 background and over a decade of senior finance experience. Key responsibilities include leading financial control, overseeing IFRS reporting, and managing UAE-specific regulatory requirements such as VAT and ESR. Additionally, the role involves supporting fundraising efforts, managing investor relations, and navigating complex M&A transactions. The position offers a competitive package of up to AED 65,000 per month, along with performance bonuses and comprehensive family benefits.

Key Requirements
Big 4 background (Audit / Advisory / Transactions).
12–15 years of comprehensive finance experience.
Extensive exposure to FinTech and Payments industries.
Demonstrated experience in regulated financial services.
In-depth knowledge of Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) regulations.
Expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Thorough understanding of UAE VAT and Economic Substance Regulations (ESR).
Proven experience in fundraising and capital raising initiatives.
Solid background in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and transaction advisory.
Strong skills in managing investor relations and external stakeholders.
