MECHANIC @ YAYA RESOURCES COMPANY LIMITED
YAYA Resources is looking for experienced Mechanics to maintain our fleet of heavy-duty machinery, tipper trucks, and light vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnostic, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency at the NEW-LUIKA site and other regional projects.
This role requires a proactive approach to equipment reliability and safety. As a member of our technical team, you will contribute to the long-term success of our mining operations by ensuring all vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Candidates should be comfortable working in a site-based environment and be prepared for potential site rotations.

Key Requirements
Diploma or VETA qualification in Automotive Engineering or related field
At least 3 years of professional experience as a mechanic
Specific experience with heavy-duty mining equipment
Proficiency in performing diagnostics on tippers and light vehicles
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
Capability to work independently under minimal supervision
Willingness to travel and work at remote mine sites
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
