OPENSHIFT ACM CONSULTANT @ YASH SOLUTIONS
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on OpenShift ACM Consultant to join our team for a long-term contract engagement. This role is remote and operates during PST business hours, working directly with a client in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in deploying and managing OpenShift on bare metal infrastructures using tools like Redfish and the Assisted Installer, while also handling complex multi-cluster management through Advanced Cluster Management (ACM).
In this position, you will be responsible for OpenShift Virtualization using KubeVirt and MTV, managing intricate networking configurations such as OVS and VLANs, and ensuring robust storage solutions via iSCSI. You will implement GitOps practices using Helm and CI/CD pipelines, integrate RBAC and Okta for security, and oversee the full lifecycle of clusters including observability, monitoring, and regular upgrades. Key Requirements
Extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift enterprise environments.
Proficiency in Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) for multi-cluster orchestration.
Proven experience deploying OpenShift on bare metal using Redfish and Assisted Installer.
Strong knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization including KubeVirt and Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV).
In-depth understanding of networking protocols, specifically OVS, VLANs, and port configurations.
Expertise in GitOps methodologies and version control using Helm charts.
Solid experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automated deployment workflows.
Proficiency in managing enterprise storage solutions like iSCSI for containerized workloads.
Experience with security and identity integrations including RBAC and Okta.
Demonstrated competency in cluster observability, lifecycle management, and version upgrades.
Ability to work during PST business hours and communicate effectively with direct clients.
