COMMUNICATION OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ WORKPROUDTZ
The Communication Officer will be the voice of our organization, managing internal and external communication strategies across our construction, insurance, logistics, printing, and media business units. You will be responsible for developing press releases, coordinating media relations, and maintaining a consistent brand image. Your role involves drafting professional correspondence, managing public relations campaigns, and ensuring that communication channels remain open and effective. We require a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Success in this role will contribute significantly to the reputation and visibility of the Workproudtz group of companies.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, or Marketing
At least 4 years of proven professional working experience
Experience in managing communications for multi-sector groups
Strong understanding of media landscape and digital communications
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Creative ability to design and execute communication strategies
Proficiency in content creation tools and social media platforms
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
Fluency in both English and Swahili is essential
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, cross-industry environment
