ACCOUNTANT & COMPLIANCE OFFICER (2 POSITIONS) @ WORKPROUDTZ
We are seeking a diligent Accountant & Compliance Officer to join our team in Dar Es Salaam. You will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining audit trails across our diversified group of companies which include construction, insurance, logistics, printing, and media sectors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high integrity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of corporate financial regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to company policies and legal standards. Applicants must be prepared to handle complex financial data while providing insightful reporting to management to support strategic decision-making. Your role will be critical in maintaining the financial health and regulatory standing of our organization.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 2 years of proven professional working experience
Prior experience working with diversified groups of companies
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and corporate compliance standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of integrity and professional ethics
Ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously
Certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred
