HEAVY TRUCK DRIVER (DEREVA WA MALORI MAKUBWA) @ WORKFORCE STAFFING
Workforce Staffing is seeking a professional Heavy Truck Driver to operate and manage the company's large vehicle fleet, including models such as HOWO, Fuso, Scania, Volvo, and Sinotruk. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods while strictly adhering to road safety laws and internal company procedures. The driver will be responsible for transporting cargo according to set schedules and ensuring that all goods arrive at their destination securely and on time.
In addition to driving, the role involves conducting comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any maintenance needs. The successful candidate will maintain accurate travel logs and cargo documentation, monitor fuel consumption, and ensure the vehicle remains clean and in good working condition. Candidates must be prepared to participate in loading and unloading activities as needed and must prioritize the safety of company assets and property at all times. The role may involve travel to various locations within the country.

Key Requirements
Minimum education level of Form Four (O-Level).
Possession of a valid Class E driving license or equivalent for heavy vehicles.
3 to 5 years of proven experience driving heavy trucks such as HOWO or Scania.
A clean driving record with no history of major accidents due to negligence.
Ability to work under pressure and travel long distances to various locations.
Basic knowledge of heavy truck maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Proficiency in reading and writing for accurate trip documentation.
Excellent communication skills and a cooperative professional attitude.
High level of integrity, accountability, and workplace discipline.
