ACCOUNTANT @ WORKFORCE STAFFING
Workforce Staffing is looking for a dedicated Accountant to join their team in Tanzania. The primary purpose of this role is to manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. The successful candidate will support financial reporting processes and play a key role in ensuring the company remains compliant with both internal policies and statutory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 1 to 3 years of experience to grow within a reputable staffing partner organization. The Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including preparing accounting records, processing invoices, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Key duties also involve preparing bank reconciliations, assisting with payroll processing, and ensuring the timely filing of statutory returns such as NSSF and PAYE. Furthermore, the role involves supporting audits by preparing the necessary documentation and liaising with external stakeholders like suppliers, clients, and banks. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills and a high degree of integrity.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA (T)/ACCA qualification or finalist is an added advantage.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Proven knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
Strong numerical and analytical skills for complex data processing.
High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian tax and labour regulations.
High standards of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
