Work Proud Tz is urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Officer to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations, ensuring that all materials and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively to support our ongoing construction and logistics projects. You will play a critical role in managing vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing our supply chain workflows to meet organizational objectives.
As a Supply Chain Officer, you will work closely with the site management and procurement teams to streamline internal processes and ensure timely delivery of project materials. Candidates must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in managing supply chain activities within demanding environments. This position is based in Dar es Salaam, and you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and operational excellence.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
At least two years of proven working experience in the construction or logistics industry.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data and make informed logistics decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of health, safety, and quality standards in construction.
Willingness to work on-site at various projects within Dar es Salaam.
