Work Proud TZ is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to be based in Morogoro. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. This is a critical role that requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to provide insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budget preparation. You will also be expected to maintain organized financial records and collaborate with external auditors when necessary. A strong background in accounting principles and proficiency in financial software are mandatory for this position.

Key Requirements
At least three years of working experience in accounting or finance
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification (e.g., CPA-T) is considered an added advantage
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP
Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and extreme attention to detail
Ability to prepare comprehensive financial statements and budgets
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
