SAP FICO CONSULTANT @ WILMAR AFRICA LIMITED
Wilmar Africa Limited, a leading agro-business company in Ghana, is seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join its IT team. The ideal candidate will report to the Head IT and possess demonstrative experience in SAP, specifically with a strong background in SAP Finance, product costing, and COPA implementation. This role requires an organized individual who can multitask effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The consultant's primary responsibilities will include understanding business requirements, preparing blueprints for project implementation, and executing the project lifecycle. They will also be responsible for validating report requirements and changes in customizations, providing comprehensive training to end-users, and resolving day-to-day user queries. Furthermore, the role involves enhancing the SAP system based on user requirements, designing, customizing, configuring, and testing FICO modules, and preparing functional designs, test cases, and results. Identifying gaps, issues, and developing workaround solutions, along with continuous training and user support, are also key aspects of this position.

Key Requirements
Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in SAP, with a focus on SAP Finance, product costing, and COPA implementation.
Proven track record of completing at least three end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects.
Strong experience supporting General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset Accounting (FA).
Proficiency in Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Controlling Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing (PC).
Comprehensive understanding of accounting business processes.
Experience with FI integration points across other SAP-based ERP modules such as MM, HR, PP, and PM.
Capacity to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple expectations and projects simultaneously.
Educational qualification of a graduation degree in Finance and Accounts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in various MS Office applications and experience with Jira (ticketing tool).
SAP certification is considered an added advantage.
