SENIOR ESTIMATOR – JOINERY & INTERIOR FIT-OUT @ WESTWOOD UAE
Westwood UAE is looking for a highly skilled Senior Estimator specialized in Joinery and Interior Fit-Out projects to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive preparation of cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed tender documents. You will play a critical role in reviewing architectural drawings, performing accurate quantity take-offs, and ensuring that all project costs are accounted for while maintaining competitive pricing through strategic coordination with suppliers and subcontractors. This position requires a professional capable of managing complex procurement cycles and ensuring budget compliance across multiple fit-out workstreams. Beyond technical estimation, the role involves active participation in post-tender activities and support throughout the submission process. You will work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure that all joinery and fit-out works align with material specifications and quality standards. This position offers a professional environment for a candidate with extensive UAE market experience to contribute to high-end interior projects across the region.
Key Requirements
Minimum 8 years of UAE experience specifically in joinery and interior fit-out projects.
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing drawings and technical specifications.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
Extensive knowledge of joinery materials, timber types, and fit-out construction techniques.
Proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and comprehensive tender documents.
Experience in managing and coordinating with local suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
High level of accuracy in performing quantity take-offs from architectural and MEP drawings.
Demonstrated success in supporting tender submissions and managing post-tender clarifications.
Strong analytical skills for cost monitoring and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
