FINISHING INSPECTOR @ WESTWOOD UAE
Westwood UAE is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Inspector to join our professional construction team in Dubai. This role is pivotal in ensuring that architectural finishing works, including flooring, wall treatments, painting, and overall construction aesthetics, meet the highest industry standards. The successful candidate will work closely with site managers and contractors to monitor progress and maintain quality throughout the final stages of our projects.
In this position, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive QA/QC site inspections, managing the snagging and de-snagging cycles, and facilitating seamless project handovers. Candidates must demonstrate a strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and ensure all finished work complies with technical specifications and safety regulations. Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience in architectural finishing works.
Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
Demonstrated expertise in QA/QC procedures and site inspection methodologies.
Advanced proficiency in managing snagging, de-snagging, and project handover processes.
Proven ability to read and accurately interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
Strong commitment to ensuring full compliance with project codes and safety standards.
Must be currently based in Dubai or available for immediate local deployment.
Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on high-quality finishing and defect detection.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with project stakeholders.
Ability to prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation for management review.
