FINANCE OFFICER @ WATOTO SALAMA FOUNDATION (WSF)
The Finance Officer will provide crucial support in managing the financial operations of the foundation. Responsibilities include assisting with budgeting processes, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. This role also involves supporting audits and meticulously maintaining comprehensive financial records to ensure transparency and accountability.
This is an internship/volunteer position with Watoto Salama Foundation (WSF), an NGO based in Kasulu, Kigoma. WSF works to protect children and empower youth through programs in education, child protection, gender equality, GBV prevention, livelihoods, nutrition, climate resilience, and community development. While no salary is guaranteed, a stipend may be provided depending on project funding.

Key Requirements
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is an added advantage.
Commitment to child protection and community development.
Willingness to work diligently in the Kigoma Region.
Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly financial software.
Strong attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
Fresh graduate or candidate with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Ability to assist with budgeting and financial planning.
Understanding of financial reporting principles and practices.
