CASHIER @ VOLENS LIMITED
Volens Limited is seeking a trustworthy, competent, and detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Cashier in Dar Es Salaam on behalf of their client. The primary focus of this role is to handle financial transactions with high accuracy, including receiving cash payments and issuing official invoices and receipts. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily cash counts, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring that all payment information is verified and reconciled in accordance with company procedures.
In addition to technical duties, the Cashier will coordinate with various Business Units to validate payment details and communicate effectively with customers regarding payment confirmations and outstanding balances. This position offers a gross salary range of TZS 700,000 to 900,000. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism in managing cash and financial records. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Fluency in both English and Swahili with strong communication skills.
Basic knowledge of cash handling, invoicing, and receipting.
Proficiency in MS Excel for financial data entry.
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical skills.
High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
Ability to coordinate with Business Units to validate payments.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with customers.
